Kommunikation ist zentraler Bestandteil des Internets. Kommunikative Gewalt hat erhebliche Auswirkungen auf queer-feministischen Netzaktivismus. In dem Artikel geht es um Hintergründe gewaltvoller, anti-feministischer und rassistischer Kommunikation und um Fragen der Regulierungsmöglichkeiten und -notwendigkeiten. (Wie) kann gewaltförmige Kommunikation, im Netz verhindert und unterbunden werden? Wie weit reicht Selbstregulierung? Welche Mittel der Regulierung stehen in demokratisch verfassten Staaten und international zur Verfügung? Inwiefern kann an feministische Errungenschaften der 1970/80er Jahre angeknüpft werden?

Regulation of Online-harassment. Perspectives of Feminist Web Politics on violent Communication on the Internet

Abstract

Communication is a key element of the internet. Violent communication has relevant effects on queer feminist internet activism. This article focuses on options and necessities of regulating such forms of violent anti-feminist and racist communication. How to prevent or to stop violent online-communication? Which resources of regulation in democratic states or internationally are already available? To what extent can the feminist achievements of the 1970/80s be revived?
