» Program
GWP is a professional journal for the study and practice of social science education. It mediates between the subject sciences on the one hand and studies and educational practice on the other. Editors and authors come from the subject sciences, subject didactics and educational practice.

Take into account that GWP only publishes original articles.

Peer-Review Process:
GWP uses a special peer review process to ensure the scientific and linguistic quality of the published articles. Each submitted manuscript is reviewed by each member of the interdisciplinary editorial board. Decisions are made on the basis of the votes, which are discussed at regular meetings of the editors. Criteria are scientific quality and a clear and unpretentious presentation.

Method of Presentation:
GWP essays are formulated as comprehensibly as possible and structured by means of section headings and subheadings. Graphics are highly desirable.

Citation: References in brackets in the text (not in footnotes or endnotes!). Literature should be limited to the necessary references and supplementary recommendations of easily accessible titles.

Please provide your references with the Digital Object Identifiers (DOI) available at Crossref, verifiable via the page https://search.crossref.org/references.

For more information on the Crossref service and the benefits it generates for you as an author, please visit the publisher's journal website.

Size:
One printed page contains approximately 2,700 keystrokes (including spaces). Essays should not exceed 12 printed pages. The texts of the other sections have a length of between 4 and 10 printed pages.

Technical form:
We request your text electronically as an open file. Formatting of the text beyond the paragraph structure and highlighting of text parts by font styles is not required. We request illustrations either as separate files (+ printout) or as reproducible templates. Colours must be used in such a way that differentiations are also retained in black and white printing.
