Open Express

Open Access:
Lately, we've perceived an increasing interest from our authors to provide their own scholarly articles for Open Access. As library budgets are diminishing and often constrained to (very expensive) natural sciences journals, Open Access is a considerable option for you as an author as well as for us as a publisher in the social and educational sciences.

The benefits of Open Access for you as an author are obvious:
● legal distribution via Researchgate and similar digital platforms
● immediate accessibility worldwide
● permanent availability even when your scholarly article is out of print
● free access for readers

Open Express:
We hence have developed our Open Express offer for our authors: If you wish, we can provide the print version of your scholarly article for Open Access for a one-time author's fee of 299,00 EUR within the first year after the date of publication. Your institution usually pays for the article processing charges – just simply ask the Open Access representative at your university or research institution.

Please contact us in case of any further questions or if you are interested in our Open Express offer.

Embargo Period:
The journal is published with a 12-month embargo period. When a new issue is published, the one published one year ago will be provided in Open Access.
