Abstract

Strategy and tactics are topics that have been increasingly on the political agenda and political science agenda for some time now. The book displayed here is not only intended to convey maxims of strategic and tactical behavior that can be helpful for the art of political advancement, but also for the successful exercise of political office and political survival. The authors refer to draw on the writings of some classics of the history of ideas who have dealt with political and military strategies. Some of their advice is practically timeless, others are at least worth discussing for democratic conditions which do not always happen here.
