Sabine Kuhlmann has held the Chair of Political Science, Administration and Organization at the University of Potsdam since 2013. Previously, she was Professor of Comparative Public Administration at the University of Speyer (2009-2013). She is Vice-President for Western Europe of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) and Vice-Chair of the National Regulatory Control Council, which advises the German government on Better Regulation issues. Her research interests include comparative public administration and local government, administrative reform, Better Regulation, digitalization of the public sector, and crisis management. Since 2019, Sabine Kuhlmann is Hedda Andersson Chair and Visiting Professor at Lund University in Sweden. She also serves as Deputy Editor of the International Review of Administrative Sciences (IRAS) and Editorial Board Member of the Public Administration Review (PAR) and has published in Public Administration, Public Management Review, Local Government Studies, Public Money & Management, IRAS, PAR, dms, and PVS, among others.
