FZG – Freiburger Zeitschrift für Geschlechterstudien offers a scholarly forum for gender and queer studies. Each issue focuses on a specific topic always aiming at an interdisciplinary discussion. It provides a renowned forum for topical discussions and is open towards articles from natural sciences and medicine as well as theoretical reflexions on an interdisciplinary approach to gender studies.
The journal bridges the gaps between scholarly and practical work, theoretical debates and empirical studies and, thus, draws a detailed picture of complex gender interdependencies and interrelations.
