» Profile of the Journal
The DNGPS (Deutsche Nachwuchsgesellschaft für Politik- und Sozialwissenschaft) was founded in 2011 in Osnabrück, Germany, and has set itself the target of improving interconnections between students of the political and social sciences and thus promoting a scientific exchange and a broad network within the student body.

Students write numerous scientific texts over the course of their time at university. Even though these works contain lots of interesting and inventive ideas and results, they only reach a few readers. The DNGPS Working Paper series seeks to remedy this imbalance through creating an interdisciplinary publication opportunity which addresses the social sciences as a whole. Thereby student research becomes more public.

For this purpose scientific articles, essays and reviews will be published and made freely available to a wide audience as an open access series.
