» Please note
Please no online (electronic) submissions via this website. Please note the following author guidelines:

For initial publication, the editors request submissions of articles, discussion pieces, information, and book reviews for the following sections: focus, forum, daily politics, news from teaching and research (NLF), reviews.

All contributions to the Focus section are subject to a double blind peer review process. For each contribution there is one external review (double blind) and one internal review by an editorial board member. If necessary, a third review may be obtained. The final decision on the publication of the contribution is made by the editorial team on the basis of the reviews.

All other contributions (Forum, Daily Politics, NLF, Reviews) are reviewed by the editorial team after submission of the complete text. Only after this review will the article be accepted or rejected for publication.

The criteria for the review are mainly related to the scientific relevance, the stringency of the content as well as the methodological transparency of the contributions.

Femina Politica sees itself as a feminist journal and promotes scientific work by women in and outside of academia. Therefore, contributions from women with qualified content will be accepted preferentially.

If reprint rights are required for an article, it is the authors' obligation to obtain them. Authors will receive a specimen copy.

All contributions must be submitted on time in an editable format. In the case of focus articles, the author's details may only be given on the title page, which must be submitted separately. After the editorial deadline or, in the case of focal contributions, after feedback of the expert opinions, the authors must be available for revisions, queries and possible arrangements for changes. If the author cannot be reached, the person responsible for the rubric must be consulted at an early stage. In cases where authors are not available, the editors reserve the right to make changes without prior consultation.
