The journal Debatte. Beiträge zur Erwachsenenbildung promotes discursive exchange within adult education and aims to adopt and expand upon transdisciplinary links to approaches from the cultural and social sciences.

Each edition presents contributions which are referred back to with replies in the form of inquiries, reflections or objections. This exchange initiates debates that open up alternative, new or supposed marginal perspectives for adult educational contexts of thought.
