» Peer Review Process
Submissions are first reviewed by the editorial team. They take responsibility for the quality of the published texts. At least two members of the editorial team read the text thoroughly and may also suggest changes to the text before it is returned to the authors.

As peer review procedures are becoming increasingly important, especially for young researchers in the context of recruitment procedures, a double-blind peer review procedure will be offered from 2026 at the request of authors, in which the text is submitted anonymously to an external expert for review. Articles that have undergone the peer review process will be marked accordingly upon publication. When submitting a text, we kindly ask you to indicate whether this procedure is desired. We would like to point out that the publication of a text takes longer due to the peer review process.

If you would like your article to undergo a double-blind peer review process, please contact the responsible editor Dr. Sebastian Klauke.
