» Please note
Please do not submit articles through this website.

Please contact the journal's editorial board for article submissions and note the author guidelines of the journal.

» Peer Review Process
PERIPHERIE is a peer-reviewed journal: Every accepted article has been peer reviewed according to the principle of double blind peer review. The only exceptions are articles that appear in separate sections, e.g. „Diskussion“ or „PERIPHERIE-Stichwort“. Therefore, after peer review, contributions must be revised according to the suggestions of the peer reviewers and the comments from the editorial staff. Even the non-reviewed contributions usually require revision according to the suggestions of the editorial staff.

Therefore, we ask the authors:
1. Please respond to all suggestions for revisions made in the expert reports and by the editors. Please state how you have responded to the individual points and explain why you have not responded to certain aspects. You can use a table, for example, to illustrate how you have dealt with expert opinions and suggestions from the editors.
2. When revising your article, use the „Track changes“ function and send us both this file and a file with accepted changes. Alternatively, you can make the changes visible in a different color.
3. Please check the bibliography again if new references have been added or old ones have been deleted as a result of the revision. The revised version does not have to be anonymous anymore. Therefore, it should contain the name(s) of the author(s) at the beginning of the text and their email address at the end.

» Open Access & Open Express
PERIPHERIE is published with a 24-month embargo period. Every issue will be provided for Open Access 24 months after the date of publication. An overview of current issues and contributions in Open Access can be found here. With our Open Express offer, we offer you to release your contribution for Open Access before the 24-month embargo period expires. You can find more information here.
