» Request for Submissions
The editorial team invites all interested authors to submit articles and reviews in German or English that fit the range of topics covered by Kieler sozialwissenschaftliche Revue. Research and conference reports are also welcome.

Kieler sozialwissenschaftliche Revue is published twice a year. In order to have a chance of appearing in the next issue, manuscripts should be submitted to the editorial office by the beginning of February or the beginning of August. Please also prepare an abstract for your article (ideally in German and English). It is advisable to contact the responsible editor in advance.

If you would like your article to undergo a double-blind peer review process, please contact the responsible editor Dr. Sebastian Klauke.

Kieler sozialwissenschaftliche Revue is published in Open Access. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. You may freely use the published articles under the conditions of the mentioned license. There is no exclusive transfer of exploitation rights („copyright transfer“) to the journal or the publisher. The authors will not be charged any costs for publication (so-called article processing charges) or submission (so-called submission charges).

» Availability of your Open Access Contribution
As an author, you are entitled to make the preprint version/original manuscript version (submitted version before the peer review process), the postprint version/accepted manuscript version (submitted version after the peer review process), and/or the publisher version/print version (published in the print issue or in the digital issue) of your Open Access contribution available at any time after the initial publication at Verlag Barbara Budrich on digital scientific platforms, your personal website or the website of your institute and/or to archive them in scientific repositories, taking into account the applicable Creative Commons license (see above).
