» Open Access via KOALA
GENDER will be published in Open Access from issue 1-2023!

Open Access publishing is made possible by the KOALA project (Konsortiale Open-Access-Lösungen aufbauen). KOALA, an initiative of the TIB – Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology and the Communication, Information, Media Centre (KIM) of the University of Konstanz, brings together academic libraries to jointly finance Open Access to journals and book series, thus creating an alternative to the APC model in which authors or their institutions pay for articles individually. In addition, KOALA is working on an infrastructure that, among other things, supports editors in transferring periodicals to open access or in finding open access funding.
