Action Research Writing Seminars for Master and PhD Students

Ph.D.-s are often the gate into research, and they can be the gate into action research too. That is why in International Journal of Action Research (IJAR) we want to encourage Master and PhD students to explore action research as a methodology for their dissertations.

Nonetheless, we are aware of the difficulties this implies, one of them being the publication of the results. That is why IJAR invites Master and PhD students that want to publish the results of their action research dissertations to join a series of writing seminars where we can reflect on specific problems together and discuss potential solutions.

The seminars will take place every four months and students can participate in as many as they consider necessary in their learning process. They will be held virtually through Zoom, and they will be free of charge.   

Participants will be invited to submit their papers to IJAR, though doing so is not a requirement to participate in the seminars. In any case, submitted papers will undergo the usual blind review process in the journal.
