FuG publishes papers regardless of academic status and position solely on the basis of their originality and quality. FuG is and will remain permanently independent in terms of sports policy. It will not publish any sports or association policy announcements or demands.
» Peer Review Process
For quality assurance, the contributions to the journal are subjected to a double-blind peer-review process, i.e., the anonymized contributions are submitted to two "peers" – i.e., colleagues with relevant knowledge. The respective authors do not know who is doing the peer review. In most cases, there is a list of questions to ensure quality. At the end of the review, the peer reviewers make a recommendation to publish the article, possibly accompanied by revision requirements, or even a recommendation not to publish the article.
» Open Access & Open Express
FuG is published with a 24-month embargo period. Every issue will be provided for Open Access 24 months after the date of publication.
