Budrich Journals is the online platform for the scientific journals of Verlag Barbara Budrich from the fields of Education, Gender Studies, Methodological Research, Politics/Civic Education, Social Work and Society.

» Free Registration as a Reader
Free Registration:
With free registration as a reader, you have the opportunity to purchase individual articles from the respective magazine for a small fee and download them directly as PDF files. By registering, you are not entering into any purchase obligation or paid subscription.

Data for Registration:
You have to register:
1) Username (no German umlauts and space characters)
2) Password (at least 8-10 characters)
3) First and last name
4) E-Mail address

Deletion of your User Account and Personal Data:
If you want us to delete your user account and personal data, please send us an e-mail.

» Download of Single Articles
To purchase and download individual articles, registration with the respective journal is required. After logging in, select the desired single article and pay via PayPal (PayPal account or guest payment). After completing the payment process, you can download the individual article immediately as a PDF file.

» Subscriptions
Subscription Types:
You can choose from three different subscription types: print, online-only, combined print+online.

1) Print: You will receive the single issues of the journal(s) via post.
2) Online-Only: You will get free online access to the entire full-text archives of the subscribed journal(s) as long as your subscription is active.
3) Print+Online: You will receive the single issues of the journal(s) via post and you will get free online access to the entire full-text archives of the subscribed journal(s) as long as your subscription is active.

Access Conditions/Personal Data:
For an online-only subscription and for a combined subscription print+online we need your first and last name and your e-mail address for setting up an user account. You will receive the login data (username/password) via e-mail.

Termination of your Subscription:
Subscriptions automatically extend by one year. Please send us your written termination via post or e-mail. Period of notice is three months until the end of the year.

Deletion of your User Account and Personal Data:
If you want us to delete your user account and personal data after your termination, please send us an e-mail to zeitschriften[at]budrich.de.
