In diesem Beitrag werden der Einbezug der Situationsanalyse als Erweiterung der Grounded Theory sowie die abduktive Typenbildung als erkenntnisvertiefende Elemente exemplarisch an einer Untersuchung zum Handeln der Akteure in der sozialen Welt Hochschulweiterbildung dargestellt. Zunächst wird eine Forschungsgegenstandsvergegenwärtigung vorgenommen, um dann detailliert und beispielhaft auf die Situationsanalyse mit ihren Mappingstrategien und die Typenbildung mit der Abbildung der einzelnen Stufen einzugehen.

Situational analysis and abductive construction of types as elements of deepened findings in grounded theory research – illustrated on a study dealing with action in the social world Continuing Higher Education

Abstract

This paper presents the inclusion of the situational analysis as extension of the grounded theory as well as the abductive construction of types as elements of deepening perception, exemplary on a research of the action of actors in the social world Continuing Higher Education. Starting with a realisation of the object of research the paper illustrates in detail the situational analysis with its mapping strategies and the steps of the construction of types.
